Sorry for not posting last few days (as if any1 apart from my wife reads this anyways)... been very busy at work with an installation of a customers new office...
Today a new server arrived. Not any brand like Dell or HP... but the kinda brand-less stuff our provider mounts for us... as it's cheap.
I power up the machine, spam DEL to get into the bios, go to the hard disk options and... NO RAID?
WTF? This is not the first time our providers do crap like that. Now I'm gonna have to use a PCI raid adapter coz I CBA to even argue with that dumb guys...
I order a SERVER with TWO HARDDISKS for a RAID-1 ... and they deliver me a fucking motherboard without any sort of raid compatibility whatsoever... /sigh
