Does it matter where the thief comes from?

This is a typical news flash example I see way too often...

"Chinese citizen uses acid hidden in a tobacco packet to cheat on slot gambling machines"

With a picture of the little plastic acid can in a tobacco packet and a little description how he put that acid into the "insert coin slot" .

Ok, let's ignore the fact that slot machine fabricators must be retarded, if by BREAKING the coin slot, the machine gives out more money... and lets focus on the header...

Chinese citizen? I read headers like that here in Spain over and over and over, day after day and after day... in my opinion, news like that are pure RACISM. They fuel racism in other people by telling us that FOREIGN PEOPLE all are thieves. I don't see any news flash saying "Spanish citizen fucks and kills his dog". No... only foreigners.

Yes, we have huge immigration and I'll admit that it's so huge that it is some sort of a problem. Even worse: Barcelona is in the region of Catalonia and there is a pretty huge (and retarded) hate going on between the rest of Spain and Catalonia (I am not gonna go into the detail of arguing who's right and wrong or who started it)

But when a spaniard does something bad, they say "a guy from Madrid steals in Madrid"... and when a foreigner does something wrong it is "OMG A CHINESE CITIZEN CHEATED SLOT MACHINES IN BARCELONA"... like c'mon? That guy pretty sure didn't come all the way from China to steal, and for dinner back to China? He fucking lives here.
And more important: who the fuck cares what his nationality is?

We have enough racism, wannabe-skins (those 14y. old braindeads can't even be considered real skin-heads), hooligans (check latest Barça-Español encounter news) and general hate amongst our own fucking people already. We don't need the damn newspapers to come with their sensionalist bullshit to fuel the hate even more.
